Hey, Makayla!

The first step to increase your chances of modeling for Justice is to get a modeling agency to represent you. Like my post about becoming a Justice model said, it is best if you live in Ohio where the company's main headquarters is located.

You'll want to check out the websites of modeling agencies in Ohio that represent tween/teen models. Each agency website will list the guidelines and instructions for how to submit your photographs and information. Previous modeling experience isn't necessary and you don't need professional pictures or a portfolio.

Digital snapshots are all that's required. So go online and look up Ohio modeling agencies and start taking the steps towards submitting yourself to them for consideration.

If you don't live in Ohio, you should still submit yourself to agencies that are within a 2 hour's drive from where you live. From there you can talk to your agent about wanting to model for Justice and if they have the connections, they'll do what they can to help you reach that goal.

Typically, that phrase is "agency speak" for politely saying you aren't what they're looking for. If you don't meet the physical requirements stated -- for example, if it was a fashion agency you were talking to and you weren't within their stated height or size range, that would be a common response. Or it could mean that your look isn't one that they feel is currently in demand at the moment and they don't want to take the chance of signing you, only to have you sitting on roster the entire time without any traction.  While it's not a great response to receive, it is their polite way of saying no, thank you. Now that you have a definite answer from that particular agent, you can move on to submitting to others and hopefully find the one that you are the right type for. Best of luck to you!
