Taylor Wrote: I'm Taylor and I live around Jefferson City, Missouri. I would like to become a model but have no experience and am already 18. I'm also 5'8 and thin but I have a small tattoo on my shoulder blade. Is there any hope for me? Hey there, Taylor! There is hope for you! :-) The small tattoo on your shoulder blade can easily be covered with makeup so that shouldn't be a problem.  Below are the names and websites of agencies in Missouri that you'll want to check out to see how to submit yourself and get your foot in the door in the modeling industry: West Model & Talent Management http://westmodelmanagement.com/be-discovered/open-calls/ Talent Unlimited http://www.talentunlimited.net/repinfo.cfm Centro Models http://centromodels.com/be_discovered/ Make sure to follow all the instructions/guidelines on the website and you should be good to go!

Anonymous Wrote: Hi! I was wondering if you thought that I could maybe become a model. I am 16 and 5 foot 7.5 but I have recently put on weight. My measurements are 34-26-36? Do you think that it would be possible for me to get my measurements down to 34-24-34? If I were to decrease my measurements would the height be a huge problem? Thank you! Hey, Anonymous! By pursuing this route first, it would allow you to stay at your current size and see if the agencies show any interest. If so, then you won't have to worry about trying to slim down unnecessarily. For fashion/runway, you are close to the minimum height requirement agencies want but some will lower the height range for younger models so there&

Anonymous Wrote: Hi I don't have any experience .. But I have the ideal body for Runway modelling . I don't know where to start because I'm living in the Caribbean and all the top agencies are in America ,London and Paris.  Please advice me Hi there, Anonymous! Below are the names and websites of two agencies in the Caribbean I came across after doing a Google search. Start with submitting to these and see what happens: Pulse Model Management http://pulsemodels.com/ Saint Models http://saintmodels.com/default.aspx If you can manage to get signed to one of these agencies, that will allow you to gain some experience and build your portfolio. Then you can try to submit your photos to agencies in other countries to see if you can get any interest from them. However, the best way to break into another country's market for modeling would be for your current agent to submit your images and resume/portfolio on your behalf. So definitely start with these two

It's not really many modeling opportunities in Oakland so I have no clue we're to start. I don't have the money to pay for a photographer so i cant yet submit my pictures to an agencies I need help with starting my career can you help me ?  Tyler  Hi, Tyler! Since you live in Oakland, you'll want to submit to agencies in San Francisco. That is the biggest market in Northern California and is just across the Bay Bridge from you. Do a Google search for "San Francisco modeling agencies" and a bunch of the agency websites will pop right up. Agencies don't require professional photos or a portfolio so you don't have to spend money to hire a photographer at this point in the process. All you need are digital, non professional photos, which can be taken by a family member or friend. After you do
