Hi, I’m not sure if you’kk reply to this anytime soon but whatever. I have acne on my face and have had for the past 3 and a half years. I’m 14 and i’ve Tried many washes and scrubs but haven’t visited a dermatologist yet. I really want to give modelling a shot because i’m Always complimented on my ‘ model figure’ . I don’t know where to start and want to know how likely I am to actually model. (Hopefully mostly catwalk). Thanks, Freya

Hey, Freya!

The first thing to do is make that appointment to see a dermatologist. Trying a bunch of different products randomly without any guidance could do more harm than good. Seeing a qualified dermatologist is a great way to start off on a clean slate, understand your skin better and have the dermatologist recommend the right skin care products for you to try out.

Take that first step to get your complexion at its best and then when you find the products and regimen that works, the next step would be to look into local modeling agencies that are within a 2 hour's drive from where you live.

You'll feel more confident when your skin is healthy and you know how to handle it. So make an appointment with the dermatologist and hopefully that will have you on your way towards pursuing modeling and seeing if it is a good fit for you. Best of luck!

  1. I recently had an agency interview and so how would i know if they were interested in signing me or not? The agent i interviewed with said that she was interested in me and that i have a look that is marketable.

  2. Hi, Anonymous! I apologize for just now getting your comment. I haven't been getting notifications and am realizing that I missed some questions like yours, so so sorry!

Because some time has passed since you posted, I'm hoping the agency you interviewed with ended up signing you to their roster. Based on what you wrote, it sounds like you're definitely on the right track towards being on their radar as a signed model!
