Hello, Priya!

The interview can definitely be an intimidating and even scary part of the process towards becoming a professional model. However, it is important that you keep the mindset that the interview is about the agency getting to know you, letting your personality shine and showing them how they can benefit from representing you.

Below is the link to a blog post I did that specifically focuses on modeling agency interviews like the one you are preparing for:

http://amodelsdiary.blogspot.com/2013/09/the-411-on-modeling-agency-interviews.html (this is the blog post you originally posted your comment/question on...if you go back and re-read it, there is a list of sample questions for you to practice answering).

In general, you'll want to answer questions honestly and maintain a positive and outgoing personality. Avoid one word answers but don't ramble on and on. The key is to keep the focus on yourself and what qualities you possess that would make you a great model (i.e. dependable, professional, fast learner, take direction well, etc.).

Having a flexible schedule and the ability to travel if needed are additional factors agencies like to know about their models. If you are in school and are a student, it's okay to share that as well. Agencies work with models who are students all the time so this won't count against you unless you had such a heavy school schedule that you will not be available to attend castings and modeling jobs.

At the end of the day, you want to show them you are eager and excited to work professionally and to go above and beyond their expectations. Answer their questions with a smile, good eye contact and confident body language/posture and they will have no problem making a decision whether or not to work with you.

Best of luck!!!
